Each year a day of research student talks is held. Usually this is in the last week of January. Each student presents a short talk. All staff are invited to the talks and this provides students with a friendly environment to present their work and to gain experience in answering questions, often from non-specialists.
For inspiration you can view the winning talks from previous years.
